I exist in a world where most conversations involve a great deal of irony. Many people tend to lack self-awareness and go rote through their day, never examining the behaviors they display or the choices they make - ones that often contradict their words.
A person will talk to me about their pets or stories of companion animals…how amazing they are, how much they love them, laugh at their silly antics, heart emojis abound. They see a story of cruelty to a dog or cat and it causes mass outrage. “How could anyone ever harm them?” Yet point out their moral contradictions and harmful impact on most other species and they will find a way to twist what is morally repulsive behavior into acceptable behavior, completely unable to recognize the obvious deep hypocrisy (AKA cognitive dissonance).
It's a similar story with the medical complex. Most know enough to acknowledge that our current medical complex is compromised – too often even downright dangerous. Many have had bad experiences with the ‘system’. But their next sentence will describe the tests, illnesses, procedures, drugs, injections, etc., that they are unquestionably submitting to. It is perplexing!
When I find myself discussing how almost all ‘diseases’ come from the SAD way of eating (Standard American Diet), most people will vigorously agree with me and acknowledge people don’t eat right or understand nutrition…that is…except for them… 🙄🙄
They seem to believe that I must be referring to people who live on candy bars and Wendy’s, which is NOT the case (though those are clearly terrible choices). I am referring to the STANDARD AMERICAN DIET. Animal proteins, processed food, oils, and sugar.
If you look in the refrigerator and cabinets of almost any of these self-proclaimed ‘healthy’ eaters, you see animal-based milk, eggs, meats, processed food, cheese, processed juice, processed sugary or pesticide-laden snacks, oils. THAT is the STANDARD AMERICAN DIET. NONE of those choices are ‘healthy’ even if you took away the chemicals most of them are probably saturated with. Much of what is consumed in the SAD should NOT be considered nutritionally appropriate food for humans!
Some might argue the chocolate and Wendy’s diet is ‘worse’…a ridiculous argument. Surely you might get in the grave a bit quicker with just chocolate and Wendy’s, but both ‘diets’ will have you on the same path to health depletion. The tortoise or the hare?
Best to get off the path entirely! Get on the path to true health. Understand your anatomy and physiology. Do not rely solely on any ‘modern medicine’ doctors to save you. Their hands are tied and they are largely powerless to do anything except follow the guidelines established by those who have a vested interest in maintaining our ‘diseases’ – BIG PHARMA.
It is so important that we all examine our own biases on an ongoing basis. Be diligent and maintain an open mind. Strive to always learn and grow, no matter how uncomfortable that process can sometimes be. We can do better. ❤️❤️
