As a responsible medical person many times in my career I have FOUGHT for months over NOT following 'orders', over NOT doing what they tell me to do...I have appealed to the highest levels of authority in advocating for people, and I NEVER give in. EVER. Not if I don't think what they are doing is prudent or safe! You will never have a stronger advocate on your side than I. NEVER.
To see so many of my peers being utterly apathetic, irresponsible, ignorant, harmful, and foolish is frustrating.
I will never let anyone harm my people without fighting harder and maintaining more strength and endurance for battle than you have ever seen in anyone in your entire life. I'm disgusted that is not the norm and I am sorry on behalf of the medical profession for being a leading cause of death and disease instead of one of health and prosperity. I can only hope in any health management decisions you encounter that you meet clinicians like myself who will truly advocate for you and your family.
